Walking is just around the corner...

Liam loves to "mow the lawn", as I call it. He will push this walker toy, a chair, a laundry basket, box, ANYTHING around the floor. Seems like we can't be too far away from walking!

Liam is a climber.

He climbed up into a rocking chair of all things. We've just raised the stakes on the Owies we'll be experiencing. (and they are already pretty high these days.)

Game on!

That was short lived.

If we spoke recently and I told you that Liam was finally night-weened and was sleeping can forget I mentioned it. We had a glorious few nights of 7-8 hours of sleep for Mama and Daddy and now we're getting up at 1:30 and 6 AM again.

I say it again, "It's a good thing he's so cute!!"

The DeCordova Sculpture Park and Liam's first encounter with grass

While he was a fan of the sculpture, Liam did not care for the sensation of grass on his bare piggies!

We enjoyed the crazy mild weather this past weekend with a picnic in Lincoln at the DeCordova. It was a great time!

Liam really loved this big xylophone. He figured out by watching Mama that he was supposed to bang the pipes with a stick.

Liam and his best buddy - Kitty!

This was taken on St. Patrick's Day. You can see that he was all decked out in his green duds. And you may also be able to see that Kitty was less than thrilled at the attention.

Liam drank through a straw!!!

I sort of helped by squeezing the juice box to get him started but he was SOOOOO pleased with himself! What a big boy!

Weekend with my boys

After having Chris in California for most of last week, our family enjoyed a lot of quality time together this past weekend. We played and shopped for dinning room furniture (but didn't buy anything).

Liam has learned a new word: PRETTY! He is using it non-stop. And as you can see in the above photo, Liam is still without teeth. Chris and I each went through our baby books and according to our Mothers, we both had a tooth by 6 months. I don't know what gives???

Here are some cute photos from our adventures. I love the one where Chris and Liam are standing at the sink. Liam is the best "helper".

Visit with Grammy, shopping and eating hangers.

It was a full day in the Wrona household. We had Grammy over and went for a nice walk. Then Liam and I went to walk the outdoor mall in Milbury. Mama snagged some great deals on spring wear for the Little Bub and Little Bub ate a bunch of puffs and was good for nearly the entire trip. (Save the Baby Gap incident that shall not be further discussed - Liam, you know to what I'm referring.)

Then, Liam ate some plastic hangers when we got home,
had a lovely bath

and crawled around his room like his diaper was on fire.

He is now sleeping off the fun day and I hope we have a good night because I am pooped from all that activity!

face smash*

Poor little man. Full speed into the door!!!

*No babies received serious boo-boos in the making of this video.

Video: Dance Revolution

I think he's channeling Elvis.

The toilet lid makes a great drum....apparently.

Oh as if there weren't enough actual toys for Liam to play with. He loves banging the toilet lid. AWESOME.

10 months on the outside!

The last week of Liam's 9th month he practically exploded with new skills and development. He learned to wave, he said "Dada" and started feeding Daddy drooled on food and he learned to CLAP HIS HANDS!! No wonder the little guy has been up a lot at night. I think he can't turn off his brain and body from all the fun he's been having during the day.

On Sunday, we celebrated Liam's 10 month birthday with a visit to Dean Park in Shrewsbury. Liam had his first ride in a swing and we tested out Mama's new baby carrier. The swing was met with luke warm enthusiasm.

But the carrier seems to be a big hit.

Three is better than two.

This is one of my favorite things that Liam does. If he has a block in each hand and you offer him a third one, he will lean forward and put his mouth around block number three. It's hysterical!

Liam is in the Big Boy tub now.

Here are some wet and wild shots from bath time this past weekend.

Video: Liam said DADA!

Liam said Dada yesterday while we were having lunch and again later last night when he used it perfectly as a manipulation tactic. The little monkey would not sleep and during the 5th trip into his room, Chris and I were both fried. But little Mister sensed this and pulled out the big guns. Reaching for Chris he wailed "Daaaaaah Daaaaaaaaah" (he somehow knew that Mama was not a fan of his at that moment.)

This bought him some leniency from the courts.

What did this tired Mama wear out of the house today?

Why, her slippers. I'm impressed that it took 10 months for it to happen. I was racing to the vets with a yelping cat in the front seat and I realized how cozy and warm my feet felt. Yup, slippers. Sigh. At least they are my faux Uggs slippers and I could pretend that I'm just so cool instead of sleep and fashion deprived.
