Fire Truck Fire Truck Kitty Fire Truck

Yes,  it's a real game that a tiny kitty is stuck in my ear and the Fireman has to get it out.  This sets off zero alarms in the logic center of Liam's mind though he questions every other mother loving thing on the planet.

Added Parental Perk: You Never Need An Alarm Clock

Let's say you need to be sure that you're awake by 7am.  Do you have a kid?  Perfect!

Call now and we'll throw in some pre-dawn laundry that requires disassembly of a crib and stain removal spray.

Yard Sale Pay Dirt!

Liam and I headed out early this morning and found three amazing yard sales!   Liam's birthday definitely came early this year.  Between new Legos,  a fire truck, a stuffed kitty and a ride-on digger truck we'll be busy all weekend.

PLUS,  we got donuts,  so pretty much a "10" by anyone's standards.

Thirty-one minutes into practice and he still hasn't kicked a ball but he seems to be enjoying himself.

What? It's not Easter? And what's this other stuff?

I believe this face says it all.

I think it fitting that I'm just now posting Easter pictures considering the Bunny didn't even visit our house until the 11th.  We were all struck down with the plague but managed to resurface and die some eggs and eat some beans.

Bub is getting very good at building puzzles.

We celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary!

We built some skyscrapers.

Liam watches some trucks cleaning the street and

then we went to do some splashing about in the water table.

A visit from Grandma Cookie netted the Bub a new delivery truck.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner!

This is what my child is saying to his toys at 6am.  Guess he's not going back to sleep!

"I want to eat like an animal!"

Sure.  Whatever gets the chicken nuggets inside the boy.

This is an example of the concessions the First Time Mom could never image making while her crazy son was in utero.   Still,  this is how it has played out.

Mama! Mama! What? Why? What's this? What? Mama! Mama?

Sorry if I haven't posted anything in a while.

I've been very busy answering each of the 14,847,917 questions that Liam has been asking me. . . THIS WEEK!

And there's no way to trick him out of asking a new question.

Answer his question with a question?

BAM!  New question.

Ignore him.

BAM!  He whines like kitten with her paw stuck in the door.

Laugh at how close you are to a mental breakdown?

BAM!  He laughs hysterically and asks,

"Mama!?  Why are you laughing?  Mama?!
